Gamer's Reunion cannot run without quality volunteers to staff the convention and to run fun events for our guests.

Convention Staff:

These are the people that actually help in the running of the convention. They make sure things go smoothly and that everything is as it should be. These are the floor walkers, registration desk workers, soda machine operators, and other jobs associated with successfully running a convention. These are also typically the people that have planned for the convention to happen in the first place. Without these people to build the base foundation of the convention, the actual game play would not happen or might not be as fun or as organized as it should be.

The easiest way to be a part of the convention staff is to join the Rochester Gamers' Community forums, where a majority of the convention planning discussion takes place. Once you are involved in that discussion, you can also join the convention planning meetings that will be scheduled as the potential convention date approaches. Those that are actively involved in this process are the ones that divide up the convention responsibilities. There is a lot of work involved, but there are also plenty of perks as well. And let's not forget that you are helping to keep a local convention running. That makes you a hero in a lot of gamers' eyes.

GameMaster Volunteer:

The next set of volunteers that we always need are the GameMaster (GM) volunteers. These are the people that run all sorts of events at the convention. All the great board games that you participated in, all the great collectible card game events that you saw, all the visually cool looking miniatures displays you walked by, and all of the tales you now have to tell thanks to the well run role-playing events - ALL of these were run by volunteers that gave up some of their convention time to make sure you had something to do. So why not give a little back yourself?

You can preregister for the convention using our online registration form. Once you have preregistered you will be able to sign-up to run events as well. The more time slots you pick up, the less it will cost for you to attend the convention.

Note: You must be pre-registered for the convention in order to be eligible for reimbursement as a GM.
